DO WE HEAR AND OBEY THE VOICE?

Today's chapter is John 10

If you are born again you will never be able to hear and follow any other voice than the voice of the good shepherd Jesus to you

Where the sheep follow the shepherd, he often leads them by speaking to them, sometimes in a strange language. A traveler who had noticed this once asked the shepherd, “Does a sheep never follow a stranger?” The shepherd replied, “No, only when a sheep is sick can it follow another shepherd.”

We can experience a kind of sickness that shows itself precisely in the way that we listen to many other voices and therefore do not follow in Jesus’ footsteps or do what He asks us to do.

It may be a kind of heart defect - a divided heart or greed that causes us to focus more on materialism and other things, so that we lose focus on Jesus and what He says.

The lust for power can also keep us from listening to the Shepherd and acting on what the Shepherd asks us to do. Instead, we act based on our own motives and desires. The lust for power can be seeking our own and building a position instead of glorifying Jesus with our lives.

Envy can keep us from listening to the Shepherd because we are envious of others and get caught in a web of envy – It hurts us when others succeed, or are lifted up instead of rejoicing with each other and lifting each other up. We have different gifts and tasks in the kingdom of God, so let us serve together for the benefit of the kingdom of God!

Spiritual hearing is weakened by disobedience and self-will and developed by obedience to what the Shepherd tells us to do. Let us listen to the Word where God also speaks of new steps so that our understanding and knowledge of God develops. Do not get stuck in what you know, but be willing to change views and attitudes as the Shepherd leads you

We must exercise our spiritual hearing by having a good conscience and right motives - God knows us!

A healthy Christian is one who listens to the voice of the Shepherd, and follows and acts in faith that God still speaks to us today and we walk in the footsteps of Jesus on the path of life.

MY SHEEP HEAR
AND KNOW MY VOICE,
AND THEY FOLLOW ME.
John 10:27

Notice what Jesus says. My sheep hear, what about you, do you hear the voice of the good shepherd?
amen

CONSCIOUSLY SEEK GOD’S WILL…

Today’s chapter is Psalm 38

Parents and grandparents teach their children and grandchildren many things – from how they dress, pack their school bags and behave with others, to their relationship with the living God.

We are blessed to have a powerful and loving heavenly Father who is also willing to teach us his ways. He wants to reveal himself to each of us, in the situations that confront us. Whether we are experiencing good days or darkness seems to descend around us.

Regardless of our state of mind, he loves us and wants to help us.
The question is whether we will accept the guidance he says and reveals in his word and live the Word.

I WILL GUIDE YOU
AND SHOW YOU THE WAY YOU SHOULD GO, SAYS THE LORD. I WILL ADVISE AND GUARD YOU.
DO NOT BE DEFENDANT LIKE A DONKEY THAT MUST BE DRIVEN WITH A BIT IN ITS MOUTH. Psalm 32:8

The first step is that we repent of sin and self-will in our lives. We listen to God and the Word’s guidance in our lives and say no to injustice and let ourselves be transformed.
Only after we have repented can we seek God’s will for our lives.

The next step is of course that we read God’s Word and make God’s Word right in our lives.

GOD’S WORD IS LIKE A LIGHT THAT SHINES ON THE PATH BEFORE ME Psalm 119:105.

God has given His Holy Spirit as a helper – A wonderful gift from God to each of His children. The Holy Spirit shows us the truth and leads us to understand God when we read the Bible and when we pray.

We must listen and act attentively to His voice, within us, when we open the scriptures.

GOD WANTS TO SPEAK TO US!
When we seek God’s will, we may sometimes experience a little waiting.
It is in the waiting that God builds our character and strengthens our faith. Just as children develop, so God wants us to develop throughout our lives.
SEEK HIM IN THE SCRIPTURES AND IN PRAYER,

and He will reveal to you His good and pleasing will in your situation!

I HAVE WRITTEN THIS TO YOU WHO BELIEVE IN THE NAME OF THE SON OF GOD, SO THAT YOU MAY KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. WE HAVE THE CONFIDENCE THAT HE HEARES US WHEN WE ASK HIM FOR ANYTHING THAT IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH HIS WILL. 1 John 5:13-14

“Read your Bible, pray every day Pray every day, pray every day Read your Bible, pray every day and you will grow…

17 WERE YOU JUST AND UNPRECEDENTED IN THE OLD TESTAMEN

LINK

WERE YOU JUST AND UNPRECEDENTED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT,
IF YOU OBEYED THE LAW AND COULD YOU?

Today's chapter is. Luke 1

Luke 1-6 "They were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord."

This was about the priest Zechariah and Elizabeth, the parents of John the Baptist. Paul claims the same:

PHIL. 3-6 " UNPRECEDENTED BY THE LAW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS." Paul contradicts himself: GAL. 3-11 " AND THAT NO ONE IS JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD BY THE LAW, IT IS EVIDENT, FOR IT IS SAID: " THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

The person who takes a random scripture out of context gets lost and arrives at a wrong understanding of the Bible's message and ends up in false doctrine.

IT IS ABOUT DISTRIBUTING THE WORD OF GOD RIGHTLY.
But you can't do that if you lack insight into the Word. BUT HOW SHOULD YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?

The “LAW” has a double meaning in the scriptures. For an Israelite it meant first and foremost the Ten Commandments. And secondly it meant the requirements of the five books of Moses and especially all the commandments and regulations that God gave Moses in connection with the sacrificial service in the Tabernacle. Here it says again and again: HE WHO SINS AGAINST THESE COMMANDMENTS SHALL BRING AN OFFERING We can read about this in Leviticus 4, so read it. Here it is proven that one could not comply with the commandments and requirements of the law and therefore had to bring a sin offering to the Temple/Tabernacle.

In order to be justified according to all the requirements and prohibitions of the law. When an Israelite complied with these regulations of the law, he was, according to the Old Testament, righteous before God. ONE WAS JUSTIFIED BY GRACE BY THE BLOOD OF THE SACRIFICE AND NOT BY THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW! ROM.8-7 “THE CARNATION OF THE FLESH IS ENEMIES AGAINST GOD, FOR IT DOES NOT BEND UNDER GOD’S LAW, AND IT CANNOT DO THAT.” Neither in the Old nor the New Testament. THERE MUST BE ANOTHER SACRIFICE!

HEB.9-28 “THUS CHRIST, AFTER BEING OFFERED ONCE TO BEAR THE SINS OF MANY, SHALL ALSO APPEAR THE SECOND TIME, NOT TO BEAR SINS, BUT TO SALVATION TO THOSE WHO ARE WAITING FOR HIM.”

Thank you Jesus for paying the price for our transgressions and atoning for our sin. And thank you Jesus for coming again to take us up to Heaven, those who are waiting for you.
Amen.

THERE ARE CARRIES IN THE TEETH OF TIME

John 15 is today's chapter.

Read the section the verse refers to.

We say the tine of time, the time we live in is different than before. What is different? The form+ Paul says we who believe in Jesus should not let ourselves be shaped by this world. Have not many Christians taken parts of the world into their lifestyle? Cold lukewarm love, lack of care for other believers etc.

God and the Lord Jesus have never changed their minds. God created us in his image, unfortunately humans have never really accepted it, they try to create something else and they call it freedom. Jesus has set us free from the world's flow and influences, We are set in the Heavenly not in the earthly, many are bound by the things of the earth they do not want to let go but let themselves be shaped by the lifestyles of the spirit of this world. What about you?

Isn't this about something we all know? How life is often experienced? It is a fact that trees – if you want them to bear fruit – must be pruned every now and then. We are like a tree, we are pruned and bear the fruit of God's Spirit. John 15

It is also a fact that we all get older and older; often many of us experience that money is not always enough, and that in the end it has to end up with a tooth completely pulled out. But God's people never lack anything. Jesus is always the one who shows us the way, even when money may be small. We should not put our hope in this world's wealth, dear friends.

REPETITION
And even though this is the case, we still often have an expectation that tomorrow will be a repeat of today. In my case, it could sound something like this: Breakfast. Sending the children to school. Work. Picking up the children. Shopping. Cooking. Sitting in front of the cash register. Calling mom (if she is lucky). It just doesn't quite fit NO ONE KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING. Every day is a new unknown. But known by God.

But life isn't always like that.
Suddenly the power can go out - and therefore the internet, and the children panic. Then the car may no longer start and help make a big hole in the piggy bank. Then suddenly there is a gigantic cloudburst, which forces sewage water up into all the city's basements - and those aren't even the worst examples.

Why do believers today panic over very ordinary things, don't they believe that Jesus has everything under control today?

EVERYTHING IS GIVEN AS A GIFT, AND NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS FOR SURE.« LIFE IS A GIFT.

Amen

I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD’’Read the section the verse refers to.

Today’s chapter is verse 23 where there is Jesus who is the good shepherd.

We are the sheep:

JESUS IS THE GOOD SHEPHERD.

The shepherd lives with his sheep. He gives them healthy and varied food, so that we can develop healthily and properly and Jesus provides protection and security.

We all need healthy, spiritual food, to develop well and properly. Sometimes we don’t like a varied diet, We prefer to eat what we know, but as children need a healthy and varied diet, vitamins, minerals, so we also need healthy varied spiritual food from the Word. The Word is Versus that became flesh John 1

The sheep cannot live without the Shepherd. Without the Shepherd, the sheep become a victim of wolves, wild dogs and thieves. We have many false shepherds also o day, they scold, chase the sheep as if they were the black sheep.

They are killed, perish, disappear, and are lost.

LET US SEEK CLOSE TO THE GOOD SHEPHERD

We often have the same characteristics as the sheep. The sheep easily forget the way and go astray. They can and will themselves and can be stubborn, rebellious, and even from the outside almost stupid. The Scripture says:

WE ALL LIKE SHEEP HAVE GONE AStray. WE HAVE TURNED EACH ONE TO OUR OWN WAY

When Jesus spoke of the sheep, He said. I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD. THE GOOD SHEPHERD WILL SACRIFICE HIS LIFE TO SAVE THE SHEEP

It was not just words,

JESUS GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU AND ME ON GOLGATHA, SO THAT WE COULD EXPERIENCE TRUE FREEDOM, SALVATION, FORGIVENESS, AND ETERNAL LIFE

Jesus also says:

I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD. I KNOW MY SHEEP AND THEY KNOW ME. JUST AS THE FATHER KNOWS ME AND I KNOW HIM. I SACRIFICE MY LIFE FOR THE SHEEP MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, (KNOW MY VOICE) I KNOW THEM AND THEY FOLLOW ME.

Notice Jesus says many times I AM. This is because He is also God, the first born Son of the I AM, of course a son has the same name as His Father.

He knows and calls you by name:

It is God who through the choice of your earthly parents gave you your name dear friend.

YOU ARE KNOWN AND LOVED AND THEY FOLLOW ME

Rejoice not only that you know the Shepherd and He knows you but follow Him throughout your life. He knows best!

I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE AND THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH NO ONE CAN Pluck THEM OUT OF MY HAND, BECAUSE MY FATHER HAS GIVEN THEM TO ME AND HE HAS GREATER POWER THAN ANYONE ELSE NO ONE CAN Pluck THEM

OUT OF MY FATHER'S HAND.

I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE

We are in the best of hands:

NO ONE NO NOTHING CAN Pluck US OUT OF GOD'S HAND

To those who followed Him then and NOW, the Shepherd says:

I AM WITH YOU ALL DAYS, (All kinds of days) UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD The end of the world is the end of earthly life, so is Jesus He carries us all the way Home to God a house not built with human hands.

Amen

PRAISE CREATES INNER STRENGTH

Worship God in Spirit in Truth in your heart you can sing and dance to God.

Today's chapter is. Psalm 8

Most of us remember the story of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, immediately before the crucifixion, death and resurrection. People greeted Jesus with palm branches and the words:

HOSIANNA, SON OF DAVID, BLESSED BE HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.

HOSIANNA IN THE HIGHEST.

A few days later they shouted: Crucify him, crucify him..We humans are strange creatures who can sometimes swing wildly, unfortunately also in our relationship with God, if we are not rooted and grounded in the Word.

HAVE YOU NOT READ: FROM THE MOUTH OF CHILDREN AND SERVANTS YOU HAVE PREPARED PRAISE Matt. 21:16 HOW AWESOME YOU ARE, OUR LORD AND GOD. NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN MEASURE WITH YOU. THE UNIVERSE SHOWS YOUR GREATNESS. YOU HAVE CHOSEN LITTLE CHILDREN TO PRAISE YOUR GLORY, TO SHUT THE MOUTH OF YOUR OPPOSITIONERS. Psalm 8:2

There is a little secret about praise that we are not always aware of:
HOLY PRAISE PRODUCES STRENGTH – INNER STRENGTH

When Jesus was opposed and experienced persecution by the religious and political leaders, the praise of Jesus is greater than the circumstances. Praise not only works powerfully against and in the midst of difficult circumstances, but it produces an inner strength in our lives.

David says it several times in the Book of Psalms that the Lord is the stronghold of my life:
The Lord is my light and my salvation, so whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. WHEN MY ENEMIES ATTACK ME AND WANT TO DIE FOR ME, THEY ALL STumble AND FALL, EVEN THOUGH I AM SURROUNDED BY AN ARMY
I AM NOT AFRAID. EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING INDICATES WAR, I AM STILL SAFE, AND I HAVE ASKED THE LORD FOR ONE THING, THAT I MAY LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE THROUGHOUT MY LIFE AND SEE HIS GLORY AND MEDITATE IN HIS SANCTUARY. THE LORD PROTECTS ME WHEN DANGER IS COMING. HE HIDES ME IN A ROCK CAVE. THERE I CAN BE IN PEACE, BECAUSE THE ENEMY CANNOT REACH ME.
THEREFORE I WILL PRAISE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART. Psalm 27:1-6

Psalm 46:2-4, Psalm 73:22-28, Psalm 118:11-21

If there is an area in your life where you need strength, lift your voice in prayer and praise and let the Lord make you strong in Him.
amen

SEEK GOD AND HE WILL BE FOUND

Today's chapter is Jeremiah 29
Some people can't see any hope anywhere. Tragically, they give up and let themselves sink into despair. Others try to escape from it all.

Others get caught in a destructive web in their longing for real life. It can be drugs, abuse of any kind, or gambling, excessive addiction to games or social media.
Others again become addicted to the pursuit of success, money, career.

Millions of people, like mountain climbers, show enormous courage and great determination to get there, but when they get there they find nothing but emptiness.

In the religious supermarket and church life, there are also beautiful, dazzling offers. In the old days it was filled with healthy, broad Christian preaching. Unfortunately, the supernatural is almost vacuumed out of many churches today, in order to get people talking. Instead, light, colors, music and lifestyle preaching come.
We have met people in our network who had experienced tongues, prophecy and strong presence of God on a trip abroad.

They asked seekers: Is there anything like this in Denmark near us and where?
People today seek the supernatural, and are we in some places taking the supernatural out of our church services, in order to become "seeker-friendly"?

We need as Christians and congregations to fade out with the transforming power of the gospel:

IT IS ALSO TRANSFORMING TODAY.
May God help us in a time when everything is changing, and unfortunately not always for the better.
We are not against renewal and other ways, but PAUL PREACHED JESUS and the evangelist who perhaps reached the furthest with the gospel in recent times, Billy Graham, he preached JESUS - Heaven and hell.

We can only find God if we really want to meet him. God says in the Bible:

I love those who love me, and those who seek me will find me.

He gives us this promise: I know the plans I have for you, plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. When you call on me and pray to me, I will hear you. When you seek me, you will find me. When you search for me with all your heart, I will be found by you. Jeremiah 29:11-15

USE THE WORD

READ THE SECTION, VERSE REFERENCES TO.

The next chapter is Psalm 119 . Take your time.

We often use GPS when we are going to so-called “new places”. This means that we often use GPS to find the right way and not get lost or drive wrong or take unnecessary detours, instead of the direct road.

The Bible says:
THY WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET A LIGHT ON MY PATH Psalm 119:105

The truth is that we are all too inexperienced to make it through life without a guide from God.

God’s word is just such a guide that we can safely trust and live our lives according to.

If we read the entire Psalm 119, we see just how practical the Word is and how guiding it can be in all aspects of life.
Take the time to read the entire Psalm 119 and yes, admittedly there are 176 good verses filled with inspiration and help for each of us.
In verse 105 we read the good words that compare God's word to a lamp that lights the way and gives our lives meaning and the right direction.

In the book of Joshua we read God's speech to Joshua.
BE COURAGEOUS AND STRONG, SO THAT YOU CAREFULLY ACT ACCORDING TO ALL THE LAW THAT MOSES YOUR SERVANT IMMENSELY CHARGED YOU. DO NOT TURN FROM IT TO THE RIGHT OR TO THE LEFT, SO THAT YOU MAY HAVE PROSPERITY IN ALL THAT YOU UNDERTAKE.
THIS BOOK OF THE LAW SHALL NOT DEPARTURE FROM YOUR MOUTH, AND YOU SHALL MEDITATE ON IT DAY AND NIGHT, SO THAT YOU MAY BE CAREFUL TO DO ACCORDING TO ALL THAT IS WRITTEN IN IT, FOR THEN YOU WILL PROSPER IN ALL YOUR WAYS AND GOOD LUCK WILL FOLLOW YOU. HAVE I NOT COMMANDED YOU,
BE STRONG AND STRONG, DO NOT BE AFRAID OR BE DISTURBED, FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU IN ALL THAT YOU DO. Joshua 1:7-10

May the living word of God be a help and inspiration for each of us, in the midst of the life we each live, which can also be filled with challenges of all kinds.
God bless you
amen

A LIVING HOPE

Read the section the verse refers to.
Today's chapter is 1 Peter 1

Jesus in you is the living hope. Jesus in you is the light. Jesus in you is the life. Jesus in you is the way. Jesus in you is the living bread of God. Jesus in you is the living Word of God.

If you abide in him, not in yourself, then he abides in you.

We have fortunately been spared from it, but we hear and read about people who have had their homes broken into. It is a very traumatic experience.

Suddenly there are some who have messed with our belongings and things, and perhaps even taken valuable things with them, or things that have great affection value for us.

It leaves a feeling of powerlessness, anger, but also a feeling of how can I protect myself against similar negative experiences - You are shaken.

It can make us think that this world is not really our home, and at some point we will have to leave what we have behind us.

WHAT DO WE TRUST IN?
We are stewards of what God has entrusted to us! It makes us think about what the true values of life are, and what really doesn't matter that much.

We have an ETERNAL HOPE that cannot be taken away from us – A divine living hope that we can trust in! By God's grace we have been born again and are now children of God and joint heirs with Christ.

Jesus rose from the dead – We will also rise from the dead and be with Him in eternity.

Everything on this earth will pass away 2 Peter 3:10-11 but God has reserved an inheritance for us in Heaven that will never pass away.

Nothing can separate us from God, as God holds us in His strong Hand.
He fulfills all his promises to us, so that we can rejoice in this eternal hope, while we have to face difficulties.

OUR HOPE IS THAT WE HAVE BECOME HEIRS OF A KINGDOM THAT CAN NEVER FALL, WHICH WILL NEVER BE DEFECTIVE OR FADE AWAY. THIS INHERITANCE IS NOW KEPT FOR US IN HEAVEN. GOD HIMSELF WILL ENSURE BY HIS POWER THAT YOU ARE KEPT IN FAITH AND WILL COME SAFELY UNTO THE SALVATION WHICH IS ALREADY NOW DESTINED TO BE REVEALED IN THE END OF THE TIMES. YOU SHOULD REJOICE, THOUGH FOR A SHORT TIME YOU MAY BE WEIGHTED IN EVERY KIND OF ADVERSITY. IT IS IN THIS WAY THAT FAITH IS TESTED, LIKE GOLD PURIFIED BY BEING MELTED IN FIRE. THE TESTED FAITH IS OF MUCH MORE WORTH TO GOD THAN A PIECE OF PASSING GOLD AND WILL RESULT IN PRIZE AND HONOR AND GLORY ON THE DAY CHRIST
COMES AGAIN.
1 Peter 1:3-9

What is a living hope?

Are you looking forward to Jesus’ return?

MATTER ON GOD’S WORD

Today’s chapter is. cor3.

Read the section verse refers to.

Words affect your entire life.

Let us meditate on the WORD and take it to heart, always and in every situation we encounter.

ALWAYS FOLLOW MY ADVICE. ALWAYS KEEP THEM IN MIND SO THAT YOU ACT ACCORDING TO THEM. FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES, FOR THEY ARE LIFE-AFFIRMING RULES OF LIFE. TAKE CARE OF THEM AS THE MOST DEAR THING YOU OWN. WRITE THEM DOWN AND LET THEM TAKE ROOT IN THE DEEPS OF YOUR HEART Prov. 7:1-3

The text commands us to always bind the word of the Lord to our hearts.
The word “always” actually means, constantly, for all eternity or endlessly. The basic meaning therefore carries with it that the Word is something permanent and unceasing.

There is no room for doubting God's word, but to make THE WORD the most important thing for us who believe. Scripture encourages us to ALWAYS hide God's word in our hearts.

HOW CAN WE LIVE A PURE LIFE?

BY PAYING ATTENTION TO YOUR WORD AND OBEYING IT. Taking God's word deeply seriously in our lives.

I SEEK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, LET ME NOT GO AStray. I HIDE YOUR WORD IN MY HEART
LEST I SIN AGAINST YOU.
PSALM 119:9-11

Paul writes to Col. 3:16
LET THE WORD OF CHRIST HAVE IMMUNE IN YOU RICHLY, IT IS ONLY THE WORD OF GOD THAT CAN ENRICH YOUR LIFE WITH TRUE WISDOM, SO THAT YOU CAN TEACH, ENCOURAGE AND GUIDE ONE ANOTHER.

We also find valuable words in the Book of Psalms
YOU LOVE ME. YOU HOLD ME WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND. YOU GUIDE AND ADVISE ME
THROUGHOUT LIFE, AND IN THE END YOU WILL TAKE ME HOME TO GLORY. HEAVEN IS THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE, THERE I WANT TO BE TOO. Psalm 73:23-25’

IF MY HEALTH FAILS, AND MY MIND FALLS, THEN GOD IS THE SAME. HE IS THE STRENGTH OF MY HEART, AND HE IS ALWAYS MINE TO LIVE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS MY HAPPINESS. I HAVE CHOSEN TO TRUST IN GOD AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT ALL THAT HE HAS DONE.

Let us take in the WORD and let it have its effect in us, for the joy and benefit of our neighbors as well.

BEFORE THE WORLD BECAME, THE WORD WAS ALREADY THERE. IT WAS WITH GOD, AND IT IS GOD. THIS WORD WAS FROM ETERNAL TIME WITH GOD. BY THIS WORD, WHO IS CHRIST, ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM. IN HIM IS THE LIFE THAT GIVES LIGHT TO MEN AND HIS LIFE IS THE LIGHT THAT STILL
SHINES IN THE DARKNESS AND THE DARKNESS HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO extinguish it. John 1:1-5

NEW COURAGE – NEW STRENGTH

Today's chapter is Ejas .

When other birds succumb and give up, the eagle still has the strength and good technique to cope. No bird copes as well in a storm as the eagle.

When the storm throws other birds to the ground, the eagle sets its wings so that the storm only lifts it upwards towards the sky. Higher and higher it lets itself be carried by the storm until it reaches the layers of air where silence reigns.

We can also become tired, disappointed and discouraged in our life's journey. When we look at the world around us, anxiety and fear of the future can easily creep into our lives and affect us. . What we may have thought last year at this time would get better is unchanged, and what we thought would never change has been changed beyond recognition through crises that we have experienced and may still be in the midst of

It can be easy to give in to discouragement after all that we have seen and experienced.
The eagle can teach us something when we begin to grow weary and discouraged. We must learn to set our wings so that temptations and difficulties and our own weakness do not pull us down, but on the contrary, upward, closer to Heaven, closer to God!

HE GIVES THE TIRED AND WEARY NEW STRENGTH, HE GIVES THE WEAK STRENGTH EVEN THE YOUNG GET EXHAUSTED, EVEN THE STRONGEST MAY GIVE UP, BUT THOSE WHO PUT THEIR TRUST IN THE LORD SHALL GO FORWARD WITH RENEWED STRENGTH. THEY SHALL SOAR ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES, THEY SHALL RUN AND NOT BE TIRED, AND WALK AND NOT BE WEARY. Isaiah 40:29-31

I will soar on wings like eagles, I will wait for the right wind, I will soar on wings like eagles, I will wait for the right wind, When it comes, I will throw myself out, I will throw myself out, and let the wind carry me, carry me.

Thank God, we do not have to live in fear and discouragement, but we can trust in you in all things, always. Lift us up and keep us in this time. You have EVERYTHING in your hand. Amen

WE ARE GOD’S BELOVED CHILDREN

Today’s chapter is. Romans

Always read the section verse refers to

Romans chapter 8:
v 14 FOR AS MANY AS ARE LEADING BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE CHILDREN OF GOD.

What spirit are you of and in?
The distinguishing mark of a child of God is that he or she has an inner desire to do God’s will. The driving force is the love of Christ, which has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. When we love Him because He first loved us, we want more than anything else to please Him by living a holy life.

“THE LOVE OF CHRIST COMPELLS ME, FOR WE ARE CONVINCED OF THIS, THAT ONE DID FOR ALL, THEREFORE ALL ARE DEAD. AND HE DIED FOR ALL, THAT THOSE WHO LIVE SHOULD NO LONGER LIVE FOR THEMSELVES, BUT FOR HIM WHO DID FOR THEM AND WAS RAISED” (2 CORINTHIANS 5:14-15). v 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear: but ye have received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father!

Are you hospitable, do you care for others? Do you live in the life of the Spirit of Jesus?

Being a slave of Jesus Christ is the highest form of freedom. By obeying Him, we are freed from the destructive forces that once bound us. We have given Him control over our lives, and then we can live in victory.

When the love of Christ is the driving force in our lives, it drives out fear (cf. 1 John 4:18).
We do not need to fear, because fear has to do with punishment, and Jesus has taken upon Himself the punishment that was due to us all, so we are no longer under condemnation, which brings punishment, but under grace, which gives freedom. We are no longer slaves to sin, but beloved children of God, exclaiming with gratitude:

“DEAR FATHER – ABBA FATHER – HEAVENLY FATHER”.
V 16 THE SPIRIT ITSELF TESTIFIES WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD.

We do not need anyone to tell us that we are children of God. We have the testimony within us, as the Holy Spirit confirms the faith of our hearts:

WE HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN TO A LIVING HOPE.

There is a harmony within us between the Holy Spirit and our spirit. We have an inner conviction, a peace from God that surpasses all understanding

v 17 BUT IF WE ARE CHILDREN, WE ARE ALSO HEIRS, HEIRS OF GOD AND CO-HEREIRS WITH CHRIST, IF WE SUFFER WITH HIM THAT WE MAY ALSO BE GLORIFIED WITH HIM.

When we are born again, we are both a NEW creation and have received a NEW inheritance. God’s children have a right that the world does not have:

HEAVENLY GLORY AWAITS US. WE HAVE INHERITED EVERYTHING WITH CHRIST.

He has gone before us to Heaven to prepare a place for us. One day we will be where He is and take possession of our inheritance.

TRUE JOY

Today's chapter is. LUKE 10

Always read the section the verse refers to.

Do not rejoice that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20.

It is a great trap to base your assurance of salvation on having power over evil spirits, or even on having one or another of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, for Jesus says: Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name cast out demons? and in your name done many miracles? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you. (Matt. 7:22-23).

Yes, even participation in the Lord's Supper is not in itself a guarantee of salvation (Luke 13:26-27).
But, also in many other areas one can deceive oneself, because. One's heart is deceitful. (Jer.17.9.).

In Romans 6.23. Paul tells us. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Notice, you, not outside, are you there?

David prayed in Ps. 139.23-24. Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
The way everlasting is narrow, are you on it?

In the temple at the time of Jesus on earth, there was a man standing in the temple and saying. God be merciful to me a sinner. He did not pray prayers of self-righteousness, did not present God with his works. He prayed for mercy and salvation.

Let us today, while we are getting there, seek God's throne and there lay down all our works, which we may think have any saving significance for us. And go to the cross, yes, up to the cross of Jesus together with Him.

Who lives in your place? Yourself or Jesus by the life of the Holy Spirit in you?
amen

6 DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS

DO YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS

Today's chapter is joh ev

Do you believe that Jesus died for you? Is this really the Jesus you believe in? The Jesus who had nothing beautiful or divine about him in his fleshly form. Are you aware of that? The Jesus you believe in is also the lord you will be judged by?

It doesn't matter how you imagine your Jesus to be. Many have been lost on the wrong basis. They have believed all their lives in a Jesus who is adapted to their lives, to modern times. They have blindly allowed themselves to be captivated by false teachers who say that God is not at all as "bad" as the Bible says and Jesus is much less so. They have imagined themselves and others that God adapts to the circumstances and the time we are in. So we can allow ourselves both one and the other, because Jesus is, of course, righteous. It is true that Jesus is righteous. He is just as righteous as God the Father himself and He does not tolerate lies.

How many excuses do you really think God will accept on the day of judgment? NONE. Not even the excuses of deception. I didn't know that. You know very well what is right and what is not a lie. You have heard one sermon after another. You have read the Bible, you say. And you then profile that you yourself live by the principles of the Bible, especially to those who ask questions about the Jesus you say you believe in. Are you busy proving who you think you belong to. You just forget one thing. Where is the fruit of Jesus in your life? It is the old-fashioned Jesus who says that. That we are the branch on His vine. Is it him you believe in and follow?

You must be born again your knowledge does not save you, Jesus does
amen

5 In your weakness, the power of God's life unfolds

In your weakness, the power of God's life unfolds

. Romans 15 is today's chapter Humanly speaking, we may not have the strength we could wish for. But in God's power we can endure. Jesus has promised. As our days are, our strength must be in Jesus. It is not in ourselves that we find the strength. Only by reading the scriptures and believing in them. If we cannot read, we can listen. How could we take our own thoughts captive if we do not have other thoughts to put in their place? Look at Paul, and other Christians who have endured. Despite their persecution, they chose to remain in endurance. They chose to endure in faith. We must also endure in faith, and not give up so early. It is a living hope that we are called by God to, to stay in, and to live in. We quickly lose heart if we do not have positive thoughts. We do not get positive thoughts anywhere else than through the living Word of God. If you are dying with discouragement, it is the way to fill your head with the Word. The righteous must live by faith. Not by/on feelings. On/in feelings that deceive us, lie to us. Deception. We cannot control the situation. We can do everything in Jesus Christ, who gives us strength. Be happy in hope. In Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, we can rejoice in, an eternal hope. It is so great that it is impossible to describe. You have to experience it yourself before you can experience it. We do not hope for a dead god, or something we have been told, like old legends. No. We have a hope of a Living God. Something that lasts forever. Namely Jesus Christ. Alpha and Omega. The beginning of all life. The end of all life. If we then endure in faith. we shall be with Jesus for all eternity. Therefore. Be happy in hope. Let us rejoice in Jesus the living hope. We have a Son of God, we can Put all our hope and trust in. The hope of all hopes. In ourselves we are hopeless. But if we believe, and if we live in hope, we have only reason to rejoice and be glad, in the God of our salvation. Be rich in hope. Is it really possible to be rich in hope? Yes. If our hope is in Jesus Christ and we live our life in Him and according to God's ordinances. Then we have a share in the living hope. All Mine is yours says Jesus. We have the right to every day in every situation to scoop water with joy. Scoop of the hope of joy, Jesus Christ. These are not small things, but everything Can we get if we pray in faith and firm trust, for? To Jesus Christ the words of the living Son of God. Whatever the world that we are in can offer us, of fleeting hopes that we hope for, is worth nothing in comparison to the inexhaustible treasure we have in Jesus Christ. The world can look very flimsy with all its glitter and wisdom. But. The world and its false happiness glitter Must pass away. Nothing of the perishable shall remain. There is only one thing that does not pass away. It is our choice. It is the choice of what we put our hopes in, we will be held accountable for. Have we chosen to put all our hope in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only living hope. The Lord is our strength and our praise. He has become our salvation. By trusting in faith (Hebrews.11) we have life. Life in abundance. The Word of God does not pass away. It is eternal. Let us, however, be steadfast in hope and not cast our hope on this World. But put all our hope in Jesus. Jesus is our hope. The Way Truth and eternal life. The living God of hope fills your hearts with. All joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15:13. Land o Land, the people of God. Hear the Word of the Lord God today. Let yourself be transformed so that you and your life become one with Jesus who is in the Word of God. amen

4 The Word of Comfort

The Word of Comfort

John 1 is the text of the day

It is Jesus who by the Holy Spirit in you, who is the comfort of the word.

Always read the entire section as the verse refers to

John 1. 1-5.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him nothing was made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.

Why read the Bible? Because. It is what we think about that we are. That is, what we fill our heads with goes down into the mind and works in our subconscious. If we want to live according to the Word of God, we must be filled with the Word. If we want to have a mind that is according to God's will, we must ponder/meditate on the Word of God. We do this by reading the words of the Bible. If we want, we can. It is about our will and our choices. What we choose, we become.

Everything that was written before was written because we can learn from it. So that we can keep our hope with perseverance and the comfort the Scriptures give.

Romans 15:4
When we read the Bible, we learn that Paul often comes with a word of exhortation, a word of guidance, or an encouragement. Here in the section, Romans 15:4-9. He reminds the congregation of helpfulness, unity, and the hope in Jesus Christ. The hope in Christ! To hope is basically a rather strange concept. It is not something that you can just touch and feel. But it is an important concept of life, for us.

Someone has said. When a person stops hoping, they actually stop living. To hope is a kind of expectation. Something to look forward to. In our little scripture section, hope is spoken of in several shades. Keep hope. It was Paul's strong command that everyone keep hope. If you first lose hope, for the work, the future, everything would come to a standstill. Paul tells us. Keep hope through the words of scripture.

Be patient in hope. Jesus Christ is our hope. How easy it is for us.

PSALM 108

TODAY IT IS ABOUT PSALM 108 IT IS YOURS

v1 A song. A psalm of David.

v2 My heart is steadfast, O God,
I will sing and play.
Awake, my soul,
v3 Awake, harp and lyre,
I will awaken the dawn.

v4 I will give thanks to you among the nations, O Lord,
I will sing praises to you among the peoples.
v5 For your goodness reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the clouds.

v6 Be exalted above the heavens, O God,
let your glory be over all the earth!
v7 Give victory with your right hand,
answer me,
so that your loved ones may be saved.

v8 God has spoken in his sanctuary:
With rejoicing I will divide the land of Shechem
and measure out the valley of Succoth.
v9 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah is my scepter.
v10 Moab is my washbowl;
on Edom I cast out my shoe;
over Philistia I triumph.

v11 Who will bring me into the fortified city?
who will lead me into Edom?

v12 For you, O God, have rejected us;
you do not go out with our armies.

v13 Give us help against the enemy;
for human help is of no avail.
v14 With God we shall be victorious;
he will trample down our enemies.

2 THE WORLD’S LOVE VERSUS CHRIST’S

THE WORLD’S LOVE VERSUS CHRIST’S

Today’s chapter is 1 John 2

That this world’s definition of love is not the same as God’s definition probably comes as no surprise to most Christians.

Christian means Christ is the same, just like Jesus are you?

But what happens when you preach love to a world that has a distorted image of love? People don’t respond to what is said, but to what they hear - and that is not always the same. If Christians who call themselves Christians do not have the Holy Spirit, they are without the love of God and have only the world’s domestic love in them, that is the difference.

RECEIVE THE WHOLE SPIRIT
Then he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. - John 20:22
Religion is what you have left after the Holy Spirit has left the building. Christianity without the Holy Spirit is nothing more than dead religion.

James 2:26 says that the body is dead without the spirit, and in several places in the New Testament we are called "the body of Christ" (1 Cor. 12:27 + Eph. 4:16). If it were not for the Holy Spirit, we as the body of Christ would be dead. Yes, we are all different parts of this body with different functions and abilities, but what binds us together is that it is the same Spirit that flows through us all.

The more we learn to be led by the Holy Spirit, the more we as individual parts become organized and begin to flow in harmony with each other. Not because we become better at following rules and regulations, but because the Spirit within us is changing us day by day day.

We are saved and have received the Holy Spirit our eternal pledge that is the difference between religious names Christians without the Spirit without works without love just words death judgment and paragraphs.

Paul says in Philippians 2:13 that it is "... God works in you, giving you the will and the power to do what pleases him." . Religion tries to change a person from the outside in, but God starts from the inside by giving people a new heart (Ezek 36:26). This is not something I have to strive for. Jesus' words are John 20:22 is simply "Receive the Holy Spirit." It is that simple, and it is for all who want to receive.
amen

Rom. 12:4; "Do not be lukewarm in zeal! Be fervent in spirit, serving the Lord."

Remember. Read the entire section, verse refers to.

A verse. (From Norwegian):

Do not be lukewarm in your zeal in whatever business you do.

Your God is never pleased with lukewarmness, for it is written that He spits them out.

They must be fervent in spirit, always serving your God to the glory.

But how do you keep the fire of the spirit?

The responsibility here is placed in our hands.

A fire must have new supply, it gets it through our sight and our hearing.

Read God's Word and listen to it, it nourishes the fire of the Spirit.

So turn away from the noise of the world, keep yourself fresh and warm in spirit.

Then you will be occupied with only one thing, that you will serve the Lord.

Stick to the Lord of fire. Let the fire burn within you.
