73 LAW AND GRACE.

LAW AND GRACE.

Let us make one thing clear.

No one can save himself. No one can ascend to heaven to bring down Christ.

Everything is up to God. Everything is in the hand of God the Father, even in terms of His free grace and salvation.

The question is.

Who is grace intended for?

How to get under it?

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has come into the world to make sinners blessed (7 times happy).

Sin is refusing to believe in Jesus.

Committing sin is offense by which one shoots past God's goal.

Jesus has come to save, first of all the Jews, God's firstborn people Israel, but also to Gentiles God through Jesus has come. It is true that children, young elders, old people regardless of nationationality are all welcome in the kingdom of God through Jesus.

Even those we call the very worst are welcome with God through Jesus. No one is a major or minor sinner in the sight of God. Everyone has lost the life of God's glory but everyone is offered to have it again.

Paul says in Romans 5 verses 6-11.

While we were still weak, Christ died for the wicked when the time came.

There is hardly anyone who will die for a righteous one; perhaps one will venture the life of one who is good; but God shows His love for us by Christ dying for us while we were still sinners.

All the more so shall we, who have now been made righteous by his blood, be saved by him from wrath.

For while we were still his enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son; then we shall be so much more, when reconciled to God, saved by His living.

And not only that, we also have our pride in God through our Lord Jesus Christ; by him we have now got the reconciliation.

In 1 Corinthians. Verses 9-11 says Paul.

Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Don't get lost! Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who lie in with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, no drunkards, no mockers, no robbers shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Some of you used to be like that, but you were washed clean, you were sanctified, you were made righteous by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

In Matthew chapter 21 verse 31. B says Jesus.

Jesus said to them, "Verily I say unto you, Publicans and harlots shall enter into the kingdom of God before you.

Publicans, whores, deceivers, and thieves shall enter the kingdom of heaven; because Jesus says! I have not come to call righteous but sinners to repentance" (Mark 2:17):

Everyone is welcome with Jesus, but not everyone comes in. It says REPENTANCE.

In the Bible, a sinner is generally described as such.

A transgressor of the law: "Whoever does sin commits and transgresses the law, and sin is the transgression of the law" (1 John 3:4).

They are also described in a more precise way, firstly as someone in whom the devil dwells.

Paul says, in Ephesians chapter 2 verses.1-3.

He has also made you alive, you who were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you walked before, when you were determined by the age of this world and by Him who rules over the kingdom of air, the spirit that still works in the children of disobedience. They also included all of us once upon a time. In the lust of our flesh, we did what the flesh and mind would, and we were by nature children of wrath like the others.

Secondly, as. You who will do His will

Jesus says, in the Gospel of John. Cape. 8 verse 44.

You have the devil for father, and you are willing to do whatever your father pleases. He has been a murderer from the beginning, and he does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he rushes with lies, he speaks from himself; for liar he is and father of the lie

Enemies of God.

Paul says, in Colossians 1 verse 21.

Also you, who were before strangers and hostile of mind with your evil deeds,

Fourth, as drunkards, fornicators, liars, deceivers, greedy, usurers, instigators, swearers, possessed, thieves, idolaters, sorcerers, sign-expounders, refuse lies, murderers.

Paul says, in 1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9-10.

Paul says, in 1 Timothy chapter 1 verses 8-11.

But we know that the law is good if you use it as law is to be used, and when you know that a law is not destined for the righteous, but for lawbreakers and recalcitrants, for godless and sinful, for mockers and wicked, for those who kill their father or mother, for killers, fornicators, men who lie in with men, abductors, liars, perjuryers, and whatever else goes against the sound doctrine of the gospel of the glory of the Blessed God entrusted to me.

These are sinners, and, for such sinners, God has prepared the bliss of heaven, the remission of sins, a legacy with God with Christ and the holy angels, if they will come and receive grace.

God's grace is so great that if you come to Him through Christ, all your sins are forgiven; therefore, never say that your sins are too great to be forgiven, but come, taste, and see how good the Lord is against whosoever comes unto Him.

HOW TO ENTER THE COVENANT OF GRACE?

When God brings you, in reality and truth, a sinner under this covenant, it happens like this: He makes you as a man dead for everything except for Himself and for His Son Jesus Christ, and for the comfort of the Spirit.

To explain it so that you see and believe, we will look a little at how God kills; how God kills and what God has made them, those who have died, as He has made alive in Christ Jesus.

When God brings you as the sinner under the covenant of grace, He kills you first with the covenant of works, which is the moral law or the Ten Commandments. This is Paul's teaching, and his experience.

2.Corinthian letter. 3:7-9. he says that the service of death, which was engraved in letters in stones, the service of condemnation (which is the law, which is called the letter), kills. The letter kills, he says, namely the law or the service of death, which in another place he calls a speaking voice.

In Hebræer the letter 12 verses 18-19 is there.

After all, it is not to a tangible, burning fire that you have come, to the darkness and the storm, and to a sound of horns, and to a voice that uttered such words, that those who heard them asked to be free to hear more.

Because the law has no life in it, but death and condemnation, you see your total impotence to fulfill it.

In the Roman letter chapter 8 verses 1-8 is there.

Then there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and death.

That which the law could not do because it fell short because of the flesh, God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for the sake of sin, thus condemning sin in the flesh, that the requirements of the law might be fulfilled in us who live not in obedience to the flesh but in obedience to the Spirit.

The carnal want the carnal, and the spiritual want the spiritual. What the flesh wants is death, and what the Spirit wants is life and peace. For what the flesh wants is enmity with God; it does not submit to god's law, nor can it.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

That is then his experience; as he says in Romans. 7: 9-11 I once lived, that is, lived according to my own will, without law, that is, before God killed him by it, but when the commandment came, sin lived up, but I died, I was killed, and the commandment, or the law, which was for life, became my death, because when sin was given an opportunity, it seduced me at the commandment and killed me at it.

It is the experience of all saints, they can all, more or less put their signature under it.

In Philipp letter chap. File. 3:7-10.

What I had of merit, I now count because of Christ as loss. Because of him I have lost it all, and I reckon it a shard, that I may win Christ, and be found in him, not with my own righteousness, that of the law, but of that which is obtained by faith in Christ, the righteousness of God founded on faith, that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the communion of suffering with him, that I shall have the form of his death, if I might reach the resurrection from the dead!

Paul was tired of the works of his dead flesh. He had recognized and realized. Nor could he save himself by the letters of the law, nor could he fulfill it.

What did he do?

WHAT DO YOU DO THAT ALSO FAILS TO MEET GOD'S LEGAL REQUIREMENTS?
