Today’s Chapter is
Philippians 4

You probably know. Yes, this is how my life should be, Yes, I am like this, it’s not good but what do you do about the things God. Yahweh, by the Holy Spirit points out in your life again and again?

Philippians 4:8
When in the morning we get dressed. It’s a natural part of being human. I sometimes put on a nicer jacket, new clothes etc. – It’s a conscious act! In the same way, I also put off the old, the worn, the useless, the dirty, to make room for the new.
In the Bible we find the expressions PUT OFF THEREFORE again and again, and then a long list: The childish, the carnal, lies, the old nature, impurity, wickedness, deceit, hypocrisy, gossip, etc.

In another place we find the expression PUT ON YOURSELVES therefore:
Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a complaint against another. Even as the Lord forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on love, which bindeth together the perfect bond. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts; for to this also ye were called as members of one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.

WHATEVER YOU DO IN WORD OR DEED, DO IT ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS ​​AND THANK GOD THE FATHER THROUGH HIM!

God wants us to grow in the knowledge of Him and to become more and more like Jesus! We are constantly in choice situations where we can choose between good or evil.

God wants to form our character, and there we can choose for ourselves! It does not happen automatically. We still have our free will. None of us are perfect, but we have the opportunity to grow and develop further as disciples.
Let us put on what God's word says and listen to the Holy Spirit within us!
Let us consciously put on what the Word and the Holy Spirit say. In this way our character is developed. The Holy Spirit helps us!

What does the Holy Spirit say you should do?
CHOOSE WHAT IS PLEASED IN THE LORD. Ephesians 5:10
