Today's chapter is. Revelation 22
Read
the verse referenced
John Rev 19:11-16
We read
in today's text that Jesus is exalted as KING. We read that He is
coming back to earth to liberate His people and judge the world and
establish His kingdom on earth. We also read that Christ is coming in
power and majesty. Something completely different than when Jesus
came the first time, born in Bethlehem of the Virgin Mary, as a
helpless baby without pomp and splendor

this image of JESUS, as the baby
When JESUS comes
again, every eye will see Him: Rev 1:7
BEHOLD HE COMING
WITH THE CLOUDS AND EVERY EYE SHALL SEE HIM ALSO THOSE WHO HAVE
BORN
THROUGH HIM
King JESUS does not come alone. An army
will be with him dressed in white linen Rev 19:7-8
NOW IT
IS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WHO REIGNS. LET US BE
REJOICE AND SPEAK
AND PRAISE HIM. NOW THE LAMB'S
MARRIAGE FEAST CAN BEGUN…
The
born-again Christians will be in that group of saints and angels. It
describes the fulfillment of the Words where we will reign with
Christ as, among others, Rev. 5:10 describes
At some point
JESUS will reign on earth as KING and before that happens he
wants to reign as KING in our lives – yours and mine!
Sometimes
it is mostly JESUS as the SAVIOR that we focus on, but JESUS
also wants to be KING in our lives today!
Salvation
is, so to speak, the beginning of the blessings JESUS has for
us. By more and more surrender and obedience to Him, we will
experience that JESUS IS ALSO KING IN OUR LIVES, where we are
transformed to resemble JESUS more and more. Rev. 22:12
Quite
practical and very simple:
WHO IS KING IN YOUR LIFE?
Who
guides you through life with decisions along the way?
JESUS
wants to be king in your life in the small and big decisions,
but that requires obedience and full surrender to KING JESUS YES,
I AM COMING SOON, SAYS JESUS. I AM ALPHA AND OMEGA, THE FIRST AND THE
LAST, THE BEGINNING AND
THE END Rev. 22:13
May His
will be done in heaven and on earth in your and my heart
