MATTER ON GOD’S WORD

Words affect your entire life.

Let us meditate on the WORD and take it to heart, always and in every situation we encounter.

ALWAYS FOLLOW MY ADVICE. ALWAYS KEEP THEM IN MIND SO THAT YOU ACT ACCORDING TO THEM. FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES, FOR THEY ARE LIFE-AFFIRMING RULES OF LIFE. TAKE CARE OF THEM AS THE MOST DEAR THING YOU OWN. WRITE THEM DOWN AND LET THEM TAKE ROOT IN THE DEEPS OF YOUR HEART Prov. 7:1-3

The text commands us to always bind the word of the Lord to our hearts.
The word “always” actually means, constantly, for all eternity or endlessly. The basic meaning therefore carries with it that the Word is something permanent and unceasing.

There is no room for doubting God's word, but to make THE WORD the most important thing for us who believe. Scripture encourages us to ALWAYS hide God's word in our hearts.

HOW CAN WE LIVE A PURE LIFE?

BY PAYING ATTENTION TO YOUR WORD AND OBEYING IT. Taking God's word deeply seriously in our lives.

I SEEK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, LET ME NOT GO AStray. I HIDE YOUR WORD IN MY HEART
LEST I SIN AGAINST YOU.
PSALM 119:9-11

Paul writes to Col. 3:16
LET THE WORD OF CHRIST HAVE IMMUNE IN YOU RICHLY, IT IS ONLY THE WORD OF GOD THAT CAN ENRICH YOUR LIFE WITH TRUE WISDOM, SO THAT YOU CAN TEACH, ENCOURAGE AND GUIDE ONE ANOTHER.

We also find valuable words in the Book of Psalms
YOU LOVE ME. YOU HOLD ME WITH YOUR RIGHT HAND. YOU GUIDE AND ADVISE ME
THROUGHOUT LIFE, AND IN THE END YOU WILL TAKE ME HOME TO GLORY. HEAVEN IS THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE, THERE I WANT TO BE TOO. Psalm 73:23-25’

IF MY HEALTH FAILS, AND MY MIND FALLS, THEN GOD IS THE SAME. HE IS THE STRENGTH OF MY HEART, AND HE IS ALWAYS MINE TO LIVE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS MY HAPPINESS. I HAVE CHOSEN TO TRUST IN GOD AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT ALL THAT HE HAS DONE.

Let us take in the WORD and let it have its effect in us, for the joy and benefit of our neighbors as well.

BEFORE THE WORLD BECAME, THE WORD WAS ALREADY THERE. IT WAS WITH GOD, AND IT IS GOD. THIS WORD WAS FROM ETERNAL TIME WITH GOD. BY THIS WORD, WHO IS CHRIST, ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM. IN HIM IS THE LIFE THAT GIVES LIGHT TO MEN AND HIS LIFE IS THE LIGHT THAT STILL
SHINES IN THE DARKNESS AND THE DARKNESS HAS NEVER BEEN ABLE TO extinguish it. John 1:1-5
