Today's chapter is Psalm 115

The name of the Lord is Yahweh, also pronounced Jehovah, depending on which nation you are from. Which means. I am. God is, I am.

Psalm 115

v1 Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name you give glory,
for your goodness and your faithfulness' sake.

v2 Why do the nations say,
"Where is their God?"

v3 when our God is in heaven
and does whatever he pleases?

v4 Their idols are silver and gold,
the work of human hands.
v5 They have mouths, but they cannot speak,
eyes, but they cannot see,
v6 ears, but they cannot hear,
noses, but they cannot smell.
v7 Hands they have, but they cannot feel,
feet, but they cannot walk;
there is no sound in their throat.
v8 So are their makers,
all who trust in them.

v9 Israel, trust in the Lord!
He is their help and their shield.
v10 House of Aaron, trust in the Lord!
He is their help and their shield.
v11 You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord!
He is their help and their shield.

v12 The Lord remembers us and blesses us;
He blesses the house of Israel;
He blesses the house of Aaron;
v13 He blesses those who fear the Lord,
both small and great.
v14 The Lord will multiply you,
both you and your children.
v15 Blessed are you of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth!
v16 The heavens are the Lord's heavens,
But the earth he gave to man.
v17 The dead do not praise the Lord,
Those who go down into silence;
v18 but we bless the Lord
from now on and forevermore.

God is your Father and is the God of blessing. Jesus became your curse, you are bought free, the price is paid
