THE CHAPTER IN QUESTION IS LUKE 10

Luke 10:38-42
Martha welcomed Jesus into her home. Not really anything comparable to Paul’s missionary journeys or Paul’s letters as we know them. But Martha and her family found a place for Jesus where He could rest and experience refreshment, which has been a welcome gift to Jesus. It is true that Jesus pointed out to Martha that she was putting too much emphasis on details and hospitality Luke 10:41,

but He visited her home anyway!

God’s plan for each of us is that we use the seemingly small opportunities He gives us throughout our lives. No matter what our calling or function is in the body of Christ, we can ask each and every day if there is a place where He wants to use us – He opens doors and provides opportunities for us! We serve God by being available and walking in what He places before us – it can be family, colleagues, neighbors, etc.

GOD HAS GIVEN EACH OF US EQUIPMENT TO BE USED BY HIM! HE WANTS TO USE YOU!

Jesus is the light in you that shines in the world. You are salt and light both in word and deed.

The question is, do we make ourselves available to serve Him, or do we only follow what we believe is God's way and calling for us? Are we willing to let ourselves be used by Him in every situation that He places before us?

Are you ready to say – God, I make myself available to be used by You, in what You lead me to. His answer will be that He places you in contexts where you have the opportunity to be His witness, perhaps not with words – but with your life! By being available to Him, you will be used in a supernatural way, into many situations in the future – Often a small action that He arranges for each of us.

HIS HANDMADE IS WE, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS, TO WALK IN GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD ABOVE PREPARED FOR US. Eph. 2:10
