YOU ARE A PART OF GOD'S MINISTER
Today's chapter is Mark
24
Read the section verse refers to
1.
Cor.4.1-4. So let everyone see us as God's ministers, we are God's
ambassador on earth. But, we cannot be in ourselves. We can only say
like Paul. In Verse 4. We know nothing in ourselves. We are dead in
ourselves. We are fools without the wisdom of God without Jesus
Christ. Therefore we do not come with judgment and beat people in the
head with a lot of rules and laws. The Lord God is the judge of all
and He is the judge of justice. Verse.5.
It is the Lord
God who will judge what is in everyone's heart also in our hearts.
Even what we do not know we contain, He will bring to light. There is
nothing hidden that will not be revealed by the Spirit of God. The
Spirit of God who is the light, illuminates our hearts so that we can
see what is dark and light, what is our own corruption and the purity
of Gu's life.
We who believe in Jesus do not fear God's
judgment. We have passed from the life of sin and death, transferred
to the life of righteousness in Jesus Christ. Adopted by God, seated
with Christ in the heavenly realms. We who are God's children are not
under the law and thus the demands of the law have ceased to claim
us, and we shall not be judged to life or death, to Hell or Heaven.
We have long since received our judgment and have surrendered our
dead bodies/bodies to God. We are convinced. We belong to the Lord
whether we live or die. Because. Jesus Christ is our guarantor of
eternal life and He is our lawyer who pleads our case before God's
court. He is the one who is our mediator between our unrighteousness
and God. Therefore, we also have boldness to enter before the throne
of God as we are and there we get all our power, help and grace in
God's due time.
Many today. Do not want to believe in
Jesus. Many say they believe. But they do not want to believe that
Jesus means what He says. That none of His disciples should stand
idle in the marketplace. All are called to be apostles, it is not a
special service. Apostles are God's sent servants on earth. But, many
do not want to. They, they think, are in their right to be
indifferent to whether their neighbor goes to Hell right before their
eyes. They deny the Cross and its folly. They deny the name of Jesus,
they can at best tell other Christians that they are happy to be
saved, but they do not want to serve Jesus. They have not read what
Jesus says in. Luke's Gospel chap. 19 v.11-26. Verse 27 is overlooked
by many. Bring these enemies of Mine before me and kill them (send
them into the lake of fire, eternally separated from Me says Jesus)
Away with you, you cursed, you unjust who practice iniquity.
The
Book of Ezekiel says. In Chap. 3. Verses 17-21. That we all have a
responsibility for our neighbor. If we do not warn a stubborn people.
Tell them that they will die if they do not turn, then their blood
will be required of our hands. If we do that, we will, so to speak,
have our backs free. We will be held accountable if we do not take
the Apostleship seriously.
Now there are those who say.
Oh, then we really must get together and see to it that we serve
Jesus, so that we do not end up in the lake of fire. It is not that
way. No one can, by rushing to do a whole lot of good deeds, avoid
God's judgment on the children of iniquity, who have not accepted
Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord in all things. Many forget that
when they are saved, they are no longer their own master. They are
subject to someone else's kingdom. Namely the kingdom of Jesus
Christ, it is He who is the King who has the right to command His
people to do whatever He wants them to do. You cannot get together to
serve Jesus in order to rush to do a whole lot, so that you also get
a reward.
Many will be asked the question when they get to
Heaven. Who sent you? Who told you to do what you did on earth. Can
you still look Jesus in the eye when you sing. Jesus here I am, send
me. Do as you will God with me your clay that offers itself. You are
my master I am only your clay. You may examine yourself and stop on
your way and see if you serve God in the Spirit and Truth of Jesus.
Is the truth in you and you in truth? Did you use your pound/talent
in God's service or in your own?
It is important that you
make sure that God's Word falls on good soil. Mark's gospel, chapter
24. You know the story of the sower and the soil, otherwise read it
yourself. You yourself must have a pure mind before you can serve God
the Lord and Jesus will use you at all. You must let God turn the
soil of your mind so that God's Word can first take deep root in your
heart. From your heart/mind come your thoughts, what you think you
say and do. What your heart/mind is filled with, your mouth overflows
with. You must be filled with the Word before you can testify to
others and do God's good and His pleasing work, both in word and
deed. If you are not filled in your thoughts by God's guiding Word,
you will only say and do what your own thoughts find right.
Therefore. It is extremely important that you allow God to turn the
bottom of your life on you. Let God's Word search you completely so
that your soil is cleansed of all your own righteousness which is
unrighteousness in God's eyes.
