PRAISE CREATES INNER STRENGTH

Worship God in Spirit in Truth in your heart you can sing and dance to God.

Today's chapter is. Psalm 8

Most of us remember the story of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, immediately before the crucifixion, death and resurrection. People greeted Jesus with palm branches and the words:

HOSIANNA, SON OF DAVID, BLESSED BE HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.

HOSIANNA IN THE HIGHEST.

A few days later they shouted: Crucify him, crucify him..We humans are strange creatures who can sometimes swing wildly, unfortunately also in our relationship with God, if we are not rooted and grounded in the Word.

HAVE YOU NOT READ: FROM THE MOUTH OF CHILDREN AND SERVANTS YOU HAVE PREPARED PRAISE Matt. 21:16 HOW AWESOME YOU ARE, OUR LORD AND GOD. NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN MEASURE WITH YOU. THE UNIVERSE SHOWS YOUR GREATNESS. YOU HAVE CHOSEN LITTLE CHILDREN TO PRAISE YOUR GLORY, TO SHUT THE MOUTH OF YOUR OPPOSITIONERS. Psalm 8:2

There is a little secret about praise that we are not always aware of:
HOLY PRAISE PRODUCES STRENGTH – INNER STRENGTH

When Jesus was opposed and experienced persecution by the religious and political leaders, the praise of Jesus is greater than the circumstances. Praise not only works powerfully against and in the midst of difficult circumstances, but it produces an inner strength in our lives.

David says it several times in the Book of Psalms that the Lord is the stronghold of my life:
The Lord is my light and my salvation, so whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life. WHEN MY ENEMIES ATTACK ME AND WANT TO DIE FOR ME, THEY ALL STumble AND FALL, EVEN THOUGH I AM SURROUNDED BY AN ARMY
I AM NOT AFRAID. EVEN THOUGH EVERYTHING INDICATES WAR, I AM STILL SAFE, AND I HAVE ASKED THE LORD FOR ONE THING, THAT I MAY LIVE IN HIS PRESENCE THROUGHOUT MY LIFE AND SEE HIS GLORY AND MEDITATE IN HIS SANCTUARY. THE LORD PROTECTS ME WHEN DANGER IS COMING. HE HIDES ME IN A ROCK CAVE. THERE I CAN BE IN PEACE, BECAUSE THE ENEMY CANNOT REACH ME.
THEREFORE I WILL PRAISE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART. Psalm 27:1-6

Psalm 46:2-4, Psalm 73:22-28, Psalm 118:11-21

If there is an area in your life where you need strength, lift your voice in prayer and praise and let the Lord make you strong in Him.
